Tim Sales spent most of his working life as a military diver before achieving massive success in MLM. He retired from active MLM about 10 years ago having built a team of over 56,000 people in 26 countries and earning millions of dollars.
Remember that this was all achieved without the aid of the internet or many of the fancy tools we have to make life WAY easier now than it was then.
Tim achieved the ultimate MLM dream. He built a 7 figure business and continued to earn a sizeable passive income years after retiring from building his network marketing business. He went on to build an equally successful MLM training business.
So what has he just gone and done?
Well, 10 years after retiring he joined the new start-up MLM Ariix, as the master distributor. He’ll be working along side Steve Swartz who is an ex-Usana top earner.
Ariix founders are (as far as I know) all ex-Usana executives, including Fred Cooper who was President at Usana before becoming CEO of Ariix.
Predictably Ariix is a wellness company selling nutritional products.
There has been a lot of controversy revolving around the launch of this new company, not least because of the behaviour and motives of the ex-Usana executives.
So why did Tim choose to come out of retirement to join this new start up? Of course I’m sure there was a juicy financial incentive involved, but I would like to think there was more to it than that for Tim. After all he was supposedly still earning a lucrative passive income from the MLM business he had built years ago and he had a successful MLM training business too.
So what will become of his ‘independent coach/trainer’ status now? We already know that his training product will be included in the new Ariix starter packs.
It will be interesting to see how things pan out for Tim.
